Pale salmon color with aromas of light berry fruits and floral scents. On the palate flavors of raspberry and cherry with a sweet citrus twist, balanced acidity, but needs food, noting a little spiciness. Medium finish with soft ending. Tasting Sample.

Think I like this better than the last Miraval vintage which is to say, totally solid and yum grocery store avail rosé that when the warm weather beckons you can crack alongside your springtime frolics. But like, better than a lot of rosé. Maybe not on par w my faves but damn enjoyable. Okay WSET-(ish)analysis. Eye: almost salmon Nose: medium intensity raspberry meringue and an invigorated river Tongue: medium plus acid, medium alcohol (13%) and medium plus bod for a pink. Flavors of raspberry foam, vanilla cream and, like big stones tossed into a cobbler, damn that is not technically wset but I’ll save those notes for the test I have coming. Anyway yum. Maybe I am too happy to drink a happy pink lime Miraval but I’m into this one about as much as I was the year I discovered it which I believe was the 2015 vintage. Yay. Go on now. Taste n tell me your thoughts.

Ripe, rich, opulent rose. Very well balanced, still very fresh.

If you like a well made rose that can easily be forgotten in your cellar a few years this is a good pick. Remains fresh to drink and some bitters from orangepeel make it even good with food.

Chilled on a hot day. Fruit and bitters make it a wine also suitable to enjoy with some food. Grilled red mullet........

Typical provence rose color. Pale..... This 2017 has more bitters then I recall from 2016. The red fruit is holding back a bit but that might also be the low temperature. All in all good quality once again from this domain.

It is not only the first real sunny day in our garden that makes this a good rosé. It is simply well made. Beautiful pale as Provence rosés are. Some flowers like roses and strawberries in the nose. Tastes simply excellent. If you can buy it for the right price it is in my opinion a very good glass of wine.
