The back of the label reads "what I dream of is an art of balance" and superior balance is what they have achieved. Nose is ripe and rich, with new aromas on every sip. Lemon curd on warm brioche, backing minerality and traces of vanilla & white florals. Palate shows laces of malo, adding a rich velvety aspect to the firm acidity and ripe fruit. Extremely savory and refreshing. Favorite CA chard.

A really enjoyable Chardonnay with minimal oak impact (10 months, used). Drinks really clean and zippy, with excellent acidity. Fruit leans more towards citrus rather then tree fruit. Fresh and zesty with lime, lemon, and orange blossoms. Oak nuance complements without overpowering the purity.

Perennial fav. Would love to see where it goes if I had the patience to save one.

I'd say subtle, but could maybe say muted. I'd say nuanced, but could maybe say stagnant. I'd say New California, but could maybe say a shadow of its inspiration.
