Checking in on this one tonight. Nose has under-ripe peach, tart green apple with the wet mineral notes on high alert. Palate has clementine peel, under-ripe tangerine and (light) wet slate. This halbtrocken seems a little ackward tonight, maybe better tomorrow, or in a few more years...

My favorite Saar multi-vineyard Riesling blend. Picking up more tart green apple that prior bottles, also wet slate and light petrol notes are becoming apparent with more bottle age. Great wine to sneak into a film festival in my water bottle tonight, yum!

My go to, house Riesling, can't be overtaken at $18. The '15 is slightly better, but you can't argue with the freshness of the current vintage.
