Lapierre to the rescue after a run of forgettable wines! Reduced at the outset, reveals special substance underneath. Lilac, macerated cherry, strawberry, herbs. Electric, super vivid and intense as expected. Just plain tasty. Glorious match w roast chicken

Beaujolais at its best. Big, pretty floral bouquet, bright and fresh fruit, followed by woody herbs, with an earthy undertone. Finishes forever and ever amen

Cherry-cola with a touch of herbs. The berries are red and carried by a nice acidity even though it tastes a bit warmer than 2016. Very enjoyable!

When is Burgundy not Burgundy? This is such an expertly made Beaujolais that it can compete with some of the lighter Pinot based Burgundies that are priced way higher. Very balanced, fruity and finely textured. Great with poultry.
