Banana white crown with medium foam breaks down staccato. Amphibious glyphs. Smells like the inside of a butternut that has been rinsed with balsamic and mirin, then filled with diced carrot and pickled banana peppers. Oak dusted citrus entrance; tangerine and lemon with their nectarine chaperone. Hay and banana pepper with mined salt and white pepper. Dusty cedar and cypress, oregano and nutmeg. Amazing, gutty beer with nuanced elegance. Full of sass, and bawdy, but a gem of a catch!

Solid American style sour. Little too much hop and not as round of a mouthfeel as I would expect.

Really good incarnation of Ora de Calabaza. Not overly tart with terrific berry and lime flavors. Clean finish. Another score for JP!

Delectable can't seem to figure out this is the Grand Reserve. Absolutely fantastic beer.

The Grand Reserve, this is awesome. Bright citrus and melon up front with a nice brett component that comes through in the mid-palate. Clean finish but with tremendous depth. One of the best Jolly Pumpkin beers I've ever had (and cannot do better for a warm early evening in Michigan). Fantastic!
