Always a winner. Good acid, but depth for days. As a NV, it has the complexity of a vintage Champagne.

Always love this. Beautiful slightly oxidative style. Great as usual with truffle salt chicken wings.

Ooooh yes! Unfortunately we sucked this bottle down before we finished prepping the steak tartare. Oh well.

The perfect way to clear the palate for an amazing night of vino. Minerals with pear, apple and lovely bubbles.

Egly-Ouriet Brut Tradition Grand Cru. 11/13 disgorgement, which most likely implies a 2008 Base Vintage. And we do not regret eating the Easter Bunny.

75% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay from 35- to 40-year-old vines; 100% grand cru. Rich texture in the wine with a tighter bead. Stone fruit, tea, and a sort of ginger style spice hinting through.

Very praise worthy champagne from a careful thinker and RM; so often big brands expect their customers to know the detail; here the owner assists; though understated; grapes come from three villages; Ambonnay, Bouzy and Verzenay; better still back label tells that wine was on lees 4 years and disgorged July 2013; tells a big story of the wine history usually guarded by owners only; terrific champagne, very low sugars so shrill acids.
