Silky, medium body. Soft fruits mostly cherry. A nice wine, but a bit closed right now.

Beautiful aromatics on the nose. Bright red cherry and cranberry fruit, clean minerality, with an underlying earthiness on the palate. Very good balance of fruit/acidity with supple tannins for a young wine. This wine needs some time to open up but showing very elegantly now. 'Fruit is 100% destemmed and slightly crushed before transferred into stainless steel tank. The punching of the cap is done twice a day BY FOOT. The wine is then aged in French oak barrel (70% new) for 12 months. Alexandrine’s ‘Vieilles Vignes’ is made from a selection of the oldest vines of the estate (about 70 years old).' - Skurnik Wines
