A high-end gamay, which at the age of 8 really tastes (great) Burgundy. The nose beautifully mixes infused vegetal notes and red fruits, all supported by delicate oak notes. The mouth is lively, with chew, of great finesse, leading the tasting to a persistent finish. An amateur wine. Un gamay haut de gamme, qui du haut de ses 8 ans goûte vraiment la (grande) Bourgogne. Le nez mêle magnifiquement notes végétales infusées et fruits rouge, le tout soutenu par de délicates notes de fût. La bouche est vive, avec de la mache, d’une grande finesse, conduisant la dégustation vers une finale persistante. Un vin d’amateur.

Produced from 75+ years old gamay vines. Combination of both rich fruit and minerality. Nine-day carbonic maceration followed by fermentation in old vats. But guess what? You get that sense of whole cluster fermentation but not the usual CM fruit profile, which makes me love it even more. Will definitely evolve over time. Simply outstanding.
