Sasa Radikon visited Amsterdam for a tasting of his wines. Since 2009 he makes these Pinot Grigio's, it's a personal project. Maceration for ten days in 3000 liter oak vessels & aged in even bigger (old) barrels of 3500 liter for 18 months. A wine of fantastic texture, complex taste, and never-ending finish. And the colour is fantastic too! It shows the true tint of Pinot Grigio: somewhere in between white and red. Great wine. Great tasting! Thank you @Sasa Radikon!

There is a kombucha quality to the nose of this wine that I love: sour and alive. Rich and full on the palate...this was such a fun addition to our 7 fishes dinner on Christmas Eve. The mineral, brown butter finish is awesome paired with crab. This is really well done; I could never make this but I sure want to try!
