This seemed to have more heft than other COS bottling ive tried and lacked a bit of the producers usual elegance for me. But this was still really good and a slice of Lou Malnati’s to accompany is a wonderful thing

Beautifully perfumed and elegant cherry with a damp soil earthiness. Excellently & transparently crafted.

The iron rich, bloody, meaty offering from one of my favorites on the planet - Cos. It has a plush texture with abrupt bright red fruit. Dried cranberries and velvet texture.

Lovely. Burgundy-esque. Red fruits, savory, herbal.

Light enough to be elegant, dark enough to persist on the plate. Really enjoyed this. Hints of tobacco that I didn’t expect too.

Excellent. Earthy. One of our dinner guests felt this was one of the best wines she has ever had.

Puckeringly dry and somewhat tannic. Bit of alcohol on the nose. Fruit on the palate is difficult to discern. But more dark cherry than anything else. One note and that’s it. Others commented that it is good with pizza. But so is root beer.

The Nero adds some weight to the Frappato. Black cherry, underripe strawberry with tannins and acid. Great with pizza. One of my favorite Sicilian producers.

Substantial. The Nero adds some darker fruit, some tannins and more body. So good with pizza.

burnoutcar tirws on asfalt parking lot leaving black streaks. Dry roses. Gassy, yeast. Vents off aftar a bit leaves an weak not in style Cerasuolo di Vittiria. Later The wine is exhausted. Must be a bad bottle for its usually quite good wine. Byt if your wine opens The same, retur The bottle. Secondly Cerasulolo du Vittori is a DOCG, with its own distinct style and not ro be confused with any Nero di Avola which geberally are of very different character. It also made of 30 to 50 % Frappato. So approaching this or most DOC through The grape variety lens is using a to blunt tool leasing to shallow undetstanding.
