There is Dolcetto, and then there is Roagna Dolcetto. I have been drinking this since the 2006 or so vintage and this is the best version yet. Cheap, generous, with snap and juicy dark red fruits. Gulpable with a bowl of pasta, a harmonious pairing with sage spiked lamb bolognese. Only 12% abv!! Back up the truck and drink it right away, this is best fresh and not for aging. #roagna

Maybe a bit too much vanilla, raspberry jam component on the nose. Very fresh acidity which I really like.

Disappointing. Weak, funky without structure. Might just be a bad bottle. Also might be being harsh since I hold Roagna to a very high standard.

New go-to pizza night wine! We eat a lot of pizza, so I guess I'll be getting firmly acquainted with this wine. Cherries, bitter black tea and roses.

Juicy red cherry with some earth. Simple and delicious. Medium body and medium plus acidity. Great food wine!

Really like this guy - sour/tart cherries with just a bit of funk/little bit of leather on the back pallet. Exciting drinking during the week. Love the value!

Light bodied, tart cherry fruit, high acidity, dry finish. needs to breathe a bit and then softens and develops more complexity
