A winner from my recent Thanksgiving tasting that I had to get my hands on. Good chance we will be drinking this while we cook on the day itself. Insane value bubbles. #wine

So delicious! The first wine I tried at the Lou wine tasting tonight. Everything I like about champagne, but richer & more supple. The lovely woman who makes it taught me about how pinot grapes are red-skinned and white on the inside, so the color of your wine depends on how long the skin contact lasts. And also about how their method is essentially champagne, just not from Champagne.

A bit sweeter than my standard Tissot but still lip smacking fabulousness. Metallic, more copper than Mica. Groovy guy at Buttermilk Channel explained that there are loads of families w/the same name making similar wines - that explains it!

With this nutty cidery goodness for 25 bucks who needs Champagne? Amirite?! *Dodges rotten tomatoes* Ok ok I take it back but it's good

Dried up Apple peel and pear cider on the nose with more pronounced minerality. Very fine and almost creamy mouthfeel. Not quite sourdough, but pretty darn close. Delicious.

Fun wine with a bandaid funk to it. But who doesn't like that?!
