Rich and full-bodied with ripe blackberries, rich dark cherries, violets, spices, and an earthy undertone that's simply wonderful. Gaja's Barbaresco wines pair wonderfully with good fatty meats; think grilled ribeyes, hearty beef stews, and juicy pork sausages. Flash roasted leg of lamb served rare would go great with Angelo's fabulous vino. Note to Collectors — These bottles traveled first class by air, direct from a Gaja fanatic's well-tended cellar in Milano.
