Tasted alongside the 82. This 1983 was deeper and richer than the 82. Both wines were chilled and warmed in the glass as we held them. Notes of old leather and sweet tobacco and cherry. Dark fruit on the palate with great acidity. More so than 82. Tasting the 83 make me want to try the 1990 again so bad.
