Very complex for a non-Riserva. Nose has macerated cherry, roasted green herbs, loads of crushed stone-rich gravel, and a light savory balsamic note. Savory and intense, it’s got good acidity and cling. Hella good CC.

Very elegant and complex. So fragrant with warm gravel, cigar box, macerated ripe cherry, and sweet spice. Beautifully balanced in the mouth with medium-full body, ripe fruit, and loads of savory minerality. A little less acidity than traditional, but still so great with my red sauce with meatballs. ,

Pretty wine - has structure and sweet red berries, with a brashy finish that carries. Picked up from @garagiste

2015 is stunning for a balance seldom found from the lively Sangiovese -one which could certainly bring out the best from just about any autumnal fare but go it alone as a glass by itself nicely.

Ahh... Chianti. Delicious and affordable. Cherries, cola, earth. Amazing value.

Dusty sour cherries and astringent mustard greens. Still like Chianti in a pre post ironic way

This Felsina Chianti Classico paints out perfectly both the house style as well as vintage giving a black cherry, spices and some licorice. Great depth and texture. If not quite at the level of 2016, it's still stunning wine in it's class

Drinking nicely with minimal air, this is already showing terrific balance and rounded tannins. The fruit is a touch fuller than is often the case with the entry-level the Felsina chianti, which contributes to its earlier accessibility. This vintage will surely drink well for quite a few years to come, but it’s delicious right now. Well done.
