Bing cherry perfume on nose with a whiff of VA. Fruit on palate is a little soft and the acid is a little more aggressive on the light tannins. Again, a little VA works itself into the finish.

A very fragrant and complex nose of dark cherries, blood orange, blackcurrant, white pepper and star anise. The palate is also complex and elegant, such balance with the fine fruit, a mineral acidity almost, and fine grained tannins with such an impressive length, on this delicious finish. So classy and a great bottle in this 2010 vintage. I am usually a tough marker but 94-95 even for this one. Un nez très aromatique et complexe de cerises noires, orange sanguine, cassis, poivre blanc et anis étoilée entre autres. La bouche suit dans la même veine et est très équilibrée avec ce beau fruit, une belle acidité presque minérale, et des tannins de grains fins et tellement agréables. Une grande classe et un bel équilibre avec une longueur fort impressionnante. Une superbe bouteille dans ce millésime que j’adore.
