Rich and full and velvety with lots of depth but also very light on the palate. The nose is smoky with some damp logs for a Christmas fire, also leather and red licorice nibs. The palate is juicy, predominantly raspberry with white pepper, a bit of prune and eucalyptus, finishes with a hint of tobacco. To be clear the palate is light and you need to take your time to explore the depth.
