Vivid ruby. Powerful red/dark berry aromas pick up a sexy floral quality and a touch of spiciness with air. Concentrated yet lively in style, offering palate-staining, mineral-tinged black raspberry, bitter cherry and blood orange flavors that show excellent clarity and turn sweeter on the back half. Shows a touch of candied licorice on the gently tannic finish, which lingers with superb, mineral-driven persistence. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, October 2019)

Light purple in colour. Sour cherries and overly ripe strawberries in the nose. Maraschino cherries in the mouth. Lovely finish with nice acidity.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, or in this case the Brouilly from the Morgon. Beautiful spicy red floral and violet aromatics, dried strawberry, with little sous bois on the very lengthy finish. Really classy Beaujolais.

Found it weirdly chocolatey and smooth. Not bad, but not what I expected or wanted
