Chose this to pair with a nice Father's Day dinner on the patio (cedar planked potlatch salmon) after coming home from the beach. Would have guessed Vosne Romanee on the nose. Standing up beautifully at 10 yrs. Cherry compote, rosemary, roasted lamb juices and crushed pink peppercorn on the nose. The palate is young and bright with black cherry, cedar, juniper, shiitake mushrooms, and crisp minerals. Finishes with balsamic and pink and green peppercorns. Keeps getting more complex with air. So damn good. Happy Father's Day to all!
