2012 vintage. At L'Hotel Le Bistro in Beaune. Very well priced if extremely young to open! Paler shade of medium ruby. Nose is terrific: mixture of red and black berry notes although predominantly raspberry, some vanillin, depth of concentration, crushed rock minerality and a hint of earthiness. Complex. On the palate, not as big a wine as I was expecting. Medium body and medium minus tannins - well integrated. Medium plus concentration. Layers of flavours and long finish. Too young to drink? Of course. But so enjoyable. Would leave for another five years but if you open in error, you will no doubt not be upset! Excellent.
