Monday night and opened another Pinot from Oregon, the 2015 Willamette Valley Vineyards Estate Pinot Noir. If I am going to drink Pinot my first thought is always to Oregon and the Willamette Valley. Very consistent and true to the veriatal, always clean, fresh and pleasing to the palate. On the nose is very clean, cherry, raspberry, sweet strawberry, vanilla, smoke, wet leaves, and dusty soil. On the palate there is tart cherry, raspberry, cranberry, a good mineral note, floral notes, spice, light cinnamon and earth. This wine is medium bodied with medium + tingly acidity and medium fine tannin that leads to a medium to plus pleasing finish. Have a great week and continue being safe. Nostrovia!

Enjoyed while having dinner with Mrs A at the Whitefish MT golf course this is a classic Pinot Noir in the traditional Oregon style. Light, lively and with perfect acidity and balance this wine was the perfect compliment to our NY steak dinner. Grown during a notably warm season with grapes from three vineyards it is balanced, with lightly perfumed floral aromas, tastes of black cherry, currants, herbs, spices and a hint of cedar, finishing with a smooth mouth feel and silky legs. This wine screams why Oregon Pinot Noirs are among the best in the world. Cheers
