As pretty a little Chianti as I could wish for. Profile is mossy with some cigar, sweet tobacco, cherry, and purple plum. So balanced, understated and raw. Not a show stopper, but a wine that wins you over with its earthy charm and unabashed deliciousness. There’s nothing I would add or take away. This bottle grew on me more and more until, sadly, it was gone. Paired perfectly with pasta puttanesca. Bravo!
