Pale ruby. Flinty smoky red cherry and herbs on the enticing nose. Then clean fresh and easygoing, with a stony quality to the ripe but vibrant red cherry and redcurrant flavors. Finishes long and herbal with hints of flint. (Ian D'Agata, Vinous, August 2019)

So good. Very pretty... violets and red flowers on the nose broaden to, cherries, redcurrants, some lava minerality on the palate. A bit hot on the nose (14% abv and quite light bodied) but still a delightful and pure etna rosso.

A vibrant, mineral medium bodied red with excellent acidity and long finish of sour cherry and herbs. Not cheap, but not typical either. From Dressner.
