Preserved tropical fruits, honeyed spice aromas, marzipan flows into a classic palate, mature and complex, with lovely balance. Though lacks acidic drive, as in finishing short and surprisingly simple.

It’s got the nose but the palate wasn’t quite there to back it up. All the classic flavors were there just not quite coming together in balance. Still delicious though!

WOTN without a doubt! Bottle empty in 30 minutes or so, what a beauty this great aged Sauternes. And I think this wine has at least a decade to stay on this level.
