Château Branaire (Duluc-Ducru) St. Julien Red Bordeaux Blend 1981

1981 a wonderful example of what aged Bordeaux can bring to a glass. Slight reduction on the nose, faint tobacco and leather with some herbal sage. Acidity still holding, wonderful muted black currents and blackberries, soft across the palette but with great warmth leaving linger violet.
