This Gruner is like the white wine counterpart to Fleurie. 11.5% abv, yet bone dry. White floral notes, lime zest and grapefruit, white pepper, and tarragon, with an acid driven, salty stone finish that adds enough tension and minerality to make this standout. It’s worth noting Bernhard Ott is so Biodynamic he used enough manure that the EU contacted him; “they didn’t think it was possible to use 100,000 Euros worth of manure – they thought there was some accounting mistake.” #thisgruneristheshit
