These old vineyards do well in curve ball vintages such as 2013. Bright and pretty on the nose, cinnamon and potpourri fill the nose, with fresh strawberries and raspberries with hints of menthol rounding out the nose. Cranberries and red cherries are exuberant on the palate, giving way to blackberries and anise. Finish is a little short.

Highly tannic and dirt/earth nose that opens up over time to reveal a wonderful floral bouquet. Taste: big astringent tannins with fruit in the back - cherry and prune. There is a nice sweetness that is revealed on the linger.
