Return & Refund Policy
We wish we could promise that the wine we sell would never be corked, leak, oxidized, or otherwise less than you’d hope for. But we can’t. What we can (and will!) do is accept bad-bottle returns in our store and exchange them for a replacement bottle of the same wine and vintage at no cost to you. We can make this offer only for wines that are in stock or currently available from a licensed distributor in Virginia.
We can accept returns for refund or store credit when you return a stock (i.e., non-special-order item) item to us within 60 days of purchase in good, resalable, condition along with your receipt. If you do not have a receipt we will still accept your return as long as we have a record of your purchase under your name in our customer database. The form of credit issued – check/cash, refund on a credit card, or store credit – is entirely at our discretion (although we’ll usually offer you a couple of options if we can).
We cannot accept returns or provide refunds for special order wines. We will do our best to secure replacement bottles for any bad bottles, but cannot guarantee bad-bottle replacements will be possible.
For both bad bottles and returns, you must get the wine to and from our store at your expense – we cannot cover shipping and delivery charges for returns.
