Lovely aromas of ripe cherry, sweet black raspberry, fresh flowers, and a bit of damp earth. The ripe red fruit flavors are sweet and fresh and complemented by notes of warm spice and a hint of smoke. The texture is supremely silky and smooth, with good richness across the mid-palate before juicy cherry/berry acids and light, sweet, tannins provide lift and support.

Had this wine at Perilla in NYC, one of the favorite restaurants of my life, a few weeks before their closing. Super balanced and really went well with their jerk chicken. Drank it with Todd Harrington, one of my closest friends, who I've known since first grade. The perfect wine for a nostalgic moment.

Light and fun. Blackberries, plums, licorice, rose petals, and pine. Earthy and balanced. Wonderful complexity. I was worried when the waiter showed the screw cap but the wine was surprisingly good.
