"Gravieres" means "gravel," and while the name comes from the stones mixed with the poor soils, you'll certainly taste a gravel-like minerality here, too. Pure red fruit, soy, balsamic, earth and still more fruit show on the nose and palate. The smokey, stony, gravel notes pervade the long palate and generous finish, too. Good tension between ripe fruit, minerality, and juicy acidity.
