From the family that "saved" Arneis, grapes for this wine come from the middle of the Roero area, in Santo Stefano Roero. Pale sunshine yellow color with fresh floral, citrus and melon aromas with hints of almonds. An unoaked, dry, medium bodied white wine with crisp acidity, the Arneis is well-balanced, elegant wine with good complexity and a lingering finish. Astonishingly good in 2015!

Delightful! Paired wonderfully with pork chops Milanese and arugula. Stood up to the richness of the pork and the sharpness of the arugula.

Not very fragrant, Charles says green apples. Very smooth, in between dry and full bodied, with silky texture. I thought more sweet than average, with Moscato profile, not syrupy, but Charles said was bc not very tart or tannic, so sweetness comes through first. He also says not very structured not sure what that means. Means tannins are pretty weak. Tingly at the back of thought after swallow, but clean (fleshy we looked it up!) finish with no funky flavors. Charles says not round but squishy ellipsoid finish.
