Opens with lovely aromas of dried blackcurrant and raisin with a touch of leafy tobacco, wet stone minerality, and vanilla spice. The aromas carry through on the palate where nutty, spicy, undertones emerge and the sense of minerality gets stronger. Very nice grip to the firm tannins and plenty of juicy, refreshing, acids to keep everything fresh and focused. Long and lovely!
Pretty pedestrian for a vintage port, but no faults noted.
