Purple Hands Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2014

Cody Wright - Ken Wright's son - has made a very fine 2014 Pinot from 6 different vineyard sites from across the region. Rich and deeply textured, it pumps out generous blue/black fruit with accents of dusty mineral and smoke. Ripe and broad, but not at all heavy, and nicely structured, it's delicious already with plenty of near-term potential.

Bright and medium bodied pinot. I paired it with smoked salmon. Great layered after taste.
