Penner-Ash Oregon Viognier 2014

Always one of America's best Viognier, the 2014 edition is once again outstanding. From warmer southern-Oregon vineyards and fermented all in tank, it's rich, fragrant, and exotic on the nose with scents of ripe peach, grainy pear, green melon, and fresh cut white flowers. Starts ripe and rich on the palate with lots of fruit before crisp acids and dusty mineral drive a clean, long, dry, finish.

Very nice, easy sipper. Full of light, bright fruit, but certainly not sweet. Thank you Stan and Sue!

I heart this. I imagine if I could taste the sun this is what it would be.

Fresh acidity, floral at the nose, with a lot of saffron hint, smooth full body, intense aromatic flavor at the taste
