The Elbling grape was Germany's most widely planted until the early 1900s, but is in decline and mainly goes into sparkling wine. This still, bone-dry, version is delicious, vivid and bursting with tangy lime, melon, and green apple fruit and finishing mouthwatering and long. Very springy and a bit like drinking a lime spritzer (without the spritz).
A bright wine, almost effervescent.
