The 2012 was the best Macrostie Chard we'd had in years - but the 2013 is better still. From vineyards in Carneros, the Russian River Valley, and Wildcat Mountain. Rich and lush, with plenty of sweet pineapple and tropical fruit, a lash of butter, and bright green apple acids to hold everything in balance. Our favorite value so far from the outstanding 2013 California Chardonnay crop.

Buttery, slightly oily, lemon and peach flavors. Divine with the 12 oysters I threw back - cut through the ocean and salt perfectly.
