Les Vignerons des Terroirs de la Noëlle Les Ligeriens Rosé d'Anjou 2015

$11.99$7.98

A fresh, fruit-filled, fun, low-alcohol bargain rosé that can make the cloudiest (or coldest) day seem positively summery. It's a blend of Gamay and Grolleau from the centeral Loire Valley that bursts with red plum, ripe red berries, and a touch of strawberry blossom aromas and flavors. Round and fleshy in your mouth, it finishes crisp and clean with cranberry and raspberry flavors lingering.

Light salmon in color with medium intensity. Light nose of strawberries, cherries, pepper and lemons. Light bodied and creamy with medium acidity and nice legs. Off Dry on the palate with strawberries, cranberries, raspberries, vanilla, grapefruits, limes, citrus, white pepper and minerals. Nice length on the finish with almonds at the very ending. This is a nice surprise for me. A very nice Rosé from the Loire Valley in France. Refreshing and enjoyable by itself or with food. A good sipping wine, and good for parties or the beach. An enjoyable afternoon wine with light complexity. An above-average Rosé at good quality, but not one for long term aging. Drink while fresh. I paired it with a cheese plate and crackers. 11% alcohol by volume.
