Ken Wright Cellars Shea Vineyard Pinot Noir 2014 (1500ml)

Ken’s signature wine and, arguably, Willamette Valley’s signature vineyard. Shea always gives black/red fruit - especially blueberry - but with more spice and earth than other Yamhill-Carlton wines. Always a fine marriage of ripe fruit and juicy, fresh, texture, this usually wants a few years in cellar to show its best.

Quite open for a relatively young wine. Smokey and savory red fruits with light tannins and acidity. Very nice right now, but not built for LT aging. Best in the next few years.

Good but lacking the complexity of most of the other wines.
