One of only two wines Ken makes from volcanic sites, this is always distinctive for its notes of bright cherry, blue/black berry, and juicy acids – especially welcome in a warmer year like 2014. It’s a blend of 30+ year-old Pommard and slightly younger Dijon clone growing on very shallow, porous, soils. Lots of fruit with complicating accents of tobacco, herb, and more.
