Simply superb, about as fine a California Pinot Noir value as we've seen in years. Loads of sweet, ripe, red and black fruit on the nose and palate with a kick of smoke and sweet spice from 14 months in French oak. A blood orange note comes out with air, lending freshness to match the classic California richness before the sweet spice and dark fruit come up on the long, pure, finish. Excellent.
A lovely wine and a great value.
