Domaine Vincent Dampt Petit Chablis Chardonnay 2015

The only thing "Petit" about this wine is the appellation - and the price! A stunning Chablis, super rich in flavor but lean and pure in texture, exploding with fresh green citrus, stone fruit, and Granny Smith apple plus a huge dose of chalky, stony, minerality. Simply fantastic drive and cut and intensity here with a dry finish that just won't quit. Best Petit Chablis I've ever had.

Chalky mineral, zippy acidity, lemon zest, and peach pit. Not a complex wine, rather an extremely well made and balanced sipper that is a stunner for around $15. This is a real charmer punching its way to the top as a house white.

An incredibly golden hue is a delight to look at, but quit looking and pour. The nose is great, full of minerals and citrus and an earthy, lanolin sense that underlies it all. The palate is a tad tart, full of apples and lemons. An earthy streak rides from the front to the finish and the acidity is very refreshing and the mouthfeel is full and round. This is a great Caesar salad wine, or with pasta primavera.

Refreshing chard. Racy and refreshing; complimented our Cajun shrimp. Getting some grass notes with a hint of coconut on the finish
