All of the saline, selzer-like, minerality you'd expect from fine Muscadet, but also a generous roundness to the texture and a ripe apple and tangy lime fruit. The vineyard is a rocky mess of granite, schist and gneiss - no fun to farm, but wonderful for Muscadet's Melon de Bourgogne grape. Wet stone, lime zest, and thyme notes linger nicely. A fine summer sipper and brilliant with shellfish!
Great with guac and chips on a muggy Sunday!!
