Very good for what it is: deep luscious fruit, low acid, goes down like fruit punch. To be fair, the winemakers here kept it honest: voluptuous bordering on flabby. Period. In Cali they would've added a ton of acid and frankenwined it.

Southern Rhône ‘Cuvée Anonyme’ Châteauneuf-du-Pape from wine legend Xavier Vignon. Assumably 60% Grenache, 25% Mourvèdre and some other varieties, but the exact blend remains ‘Anonyme’. A medium bodied wine, with blackberry and red plum fruit, super soft and a fresh finish.
