Most balanced and complete of the two SQN wines tonight. Although I prefer a slightly less bombastic style, I keep being impressed how Mr Krankl combines the ripeness, high alcohol and extract dialed at 11 whilst still keeping a balanced wine somehow.

+2 hour decant (little cloudy sediment). A gorgeous purplish dark magenta color. On the nose: deep notes of bright red fruit, clove, floral, charred meat, smokey marshmallow. Taste: luscious, balanced, indulgent wine with cherry/strawberry, graphite, spice, dark chocolate, dried herbs, and a dark coffee bean long lingering finish. YUM!
