When I started to get into wine, I loved Silver Oak. Haven't bought it for years but I still have some older bottles remaining in my cellar. Oh my! Layer upon layer with this 2001 vintage. Decanted 1 hour and it is still evolving. Cocoa and cinnamon on the nose. Dark cherry, plum, anise, blackberry crisp, and hints of caramel. Sleek finish. Unbelievable wine
