BYOB. Not as complete as Quilceda flagship wine but wow what texture this had. Velvet.

Palengal Vyd 2006. Very complex more Bordeaux like than Californian. Deep flavors of black fruits, and soft lushness. A joy to drink. Tannin levels have lessened and the fruit jumps out of the glass. Great finish . CB 95

Oh my this really good. Resolved tannins with fantastic fruit profile and this is hitting on all Cylinders. So I may have screwed up. Had an aged Quilceda at a wine dinner that got me hooked on this producer. Got on the list and purchased for about 5 vintages but never loved the wines I had purchased so dropped off the list. Now this epiphany here tonight! I had been coached that Quilceda needs a lot of time and like most things in my life, I need to learn the hard way. This is one of the better wines I have had recently. May need to hunt down some older Quilceda.
