Not loving this anywhere as much as the OG Ovid or the Experiments. This seems to over extracted and over blown. Hot from the alcohol and one noted in its overt licorice profile. It's well made and that's about it's only appeal.

The only drawback is it's youth!!! Thank God I have 9 left and some magnums!! I know it's a baby, but I'm still drinking it with a big shit eating grin on my face.

Saved this as our headliner since we all thought it was going to be the WOTN BUT Bucella's Katrina Cuvee edged it out!!!!!! This was amazing but we all preferred Katrina tonight. However., it may be because we committed infanticide and drank Ovid while it was still in Diapers. This was an amazing wine and will definitely develop into a Rock Star BUT in the meantime.......Katrina had us all at "Hello".

Wow! Composed of 65% Cabernet Franc, this big blend finishes out with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Big and intense Pritchard Hill vineyard and wine. Deep violet color and actually a violet essence and ripe blackberry fruit. If loving Cab Franc is wrong, then I don't want to be right.

2013, big... no huge, like all 2013s I have seen. The Cab Franc is like a jaguar waiting to pounce, in about 20 years. Dark cherry, crushed rock. Super tight right now.
