WNH event number two. Rhône varietal wines with TX BBQ...a match made in Heaven! This was one of the leftover bottles from the Italian night yesterday. This tastes so young...impeccable structure. Very floral nose of rose petals and candied cherries. Red clay, herbs de Provence, cherry tobacco on the palate. Decant for a few hours if opening now. Another beauty from @Joe Lucca .

Again, patience rewarded! This baby has rich but softening tannins , bright fruits and that elegance that defines a Nebbiolo. I am told that this winemaker, in particular, never misses. This might be the vintage that supports that acclaim
