Another nice showing from Leonetti. Moderately Oakes, nice plum and cedar on the nose, good structure. Needs more time to mellow - still a bit sharp for my taste. 14.7%. Acquired directly from the producer.

This wine needed patience. So tight and pucker mouth at first. But after 2-3 hours of decanting it revealed its treasures of smooth smoky dark blue fruit injected with earthy minerals and encapsulated in fine polished tannins that gripped your throat for literally minutes.

Definitely not a NAPA Cab but good for Washington anyway. Cherry very strong on the palate with a nice finish. Heavier than most Washington state can attempts.
