2000 Vintage with white truffle lunch at Poggio in Sausalito, CA. Truffle pizza and tajarine with truffle. Match made in heaven. A bit austere on first sip but opened and sang with the food! Close my eyes and we are back in Alba at the truffle festival without the plane trip. Loved the food and the wine. Need to come here more often. Located below the Casa Madrona Hotel.
